Important Change to Our Appointment System
From Monday 2nd March 2026, our practice will move to a full online triage system for all medical and administrative requests.
Why Are We Changing?
We have listened carefully to patient feedback and reviewed how our current appointment system works. Many local practices already use online triage successfully. This change will help improve access to care, reduce phone waiting times, and ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate help more quickly.
How will it work?
Patients will begin by completing a short online form via our website. This form can be used for both medical and administrative requests. Our clinical team will review requests the same day and decide the best next step. This may include:
- An appointment
- Advice by message or phone
- Support from another healthcare professional
Support for Everyone
We encourage all patients who are able to complete the online form themselves, as this helps us manage requests more efficiently and fairly for everyone.
However, we understand that some patients may be unable to do this. Our reception team will still be available by phone or in person and can complete the form on your behalf if you are genuinely unable to do so yourself. No patient will be left without support.
A Well-Planned Transition
We will be offering guidance and assistance during this change. Our aim is to make accessing care simpler, fairer, and more efficient for all our patients.
